For custom printed new postcards, try Vistaprint.com. I have used them with great results, quick , easy and inexpensive.

But I would also consider buying a bulk lot of vintage postcards on eBay. Many of the cards bought this way would be unused, and very cheap, like ten to twelve cents each in large lots. Then you could have a huge box of cards at the reception for the guests to choose from, maybe you could have someone take small polaroids or digital photos of the guests that could be glued to the postcards in the message area or even on the front - so each card would be a keepsake of the wedding with a personal message from each guest. And it would also be sort of a collaborative art project/wedding gift since each guest would choose a unique old card, the subject of which may have some personal meaning for them. I think the bride would love that. And of course you could sell the unused cards right back on eBay!

I found them at my local craft store in the paper good section. They had all different kinds of postcards, from states to animals, foods any kind there is. I got 100 for 5$. I didnt think that was too bad. Good luck!

Look up printers in your yellow pages. If you can find a big one that does catalogs and calendars, chances are they are a wholesale source for postcards. Good luck, it's a nice idea.

You could personalize the postcards by just putting a photo or magazine picture, etc, or anything photocopied, onto the "picture" side of the card (using index cards or an even stiffer weight of cardstock) .
Spray adhesive works well to attach them, or you could use a glue stick.
On the back side just draw a line down the middle, and perhaps add a pretty stamp and/or write their address on one the right side (or use a preprinted address label or stamp).

Also, I believe photo depts in drug stores, etc., as well as Ritz camera, etc., have a service for printing postcards (similar to those Christmas photos), but they'd probably all have the same photo on them.

Just be sure and check the size requirements from the p.o. website for postcards (I know the 4x6 index cards work becuase I use them all the time), and they can't be really thick but yours wouldn't be.

Just an idea. . .

Re regular postcards, all drugstores should have at least a small display of them, and of course any place where tourists go.

A cute love note telling him how much you miss him and how proud of him you are...some small sentimental item (that pertains to some joke you guys have or something)... If you have some talent like if you sing record him a song or if you draw or doodle send him a drawing or something like that...get creative :3 small things are usually the most meaningful if well thought out. Good luck :)

He's your boyfriend...you know him better than anyone. We don't. There is no particular thing that you add to care packages...it's whatever you want.

It depends where he is going but some of the stuff I remembered.

International Phone Cards
Packets of sunblock (this was a BIG hit)
sunblock
Baby Wipes
Small Packages of non perishable foods.
Peanuts, Pretzels, Chips, Dried Fruits, Trail Mixes

Notebook,
Pen
Pencil
so they can write different things down.
Disposable camera so if it gets lost that is okay.

Kleenex
eye drops
Little Sweet Notes for him to open each day or weekly.
