I need help on sending a Postcard from Germany to the US (california)?

Well I want to send my best friend a postcard, but I have no idea how x( how much money does it cost in stamps? And how long will it take to send? I also have american stamps, but can I use those to send something from Germany?

    You can find out some things at the German post office website http://www.deutschepost.de Even if you can’t read it, you can see what their yellow and black symbol looks like, so you can recognize when you pass by – then go in and mail your stuff ( :

    Postcards to Mexico are 75 euro cents, so I’d assume we’d be similar. (I can’t find America or USA on the rate list… weird)

    You’ll need to go to the postal service in Germany for the current rates and you will have to use their postage, not US stamps. I just haul stuff back with me when I go, so I am unsure of the exact amount right now. I have noticed that in the past when mailing a letter or something like that from Germany to either the US or Norway it takes about 5-7 days. I have had one going to California (I maintain a home in Sacramento metro area) take a couple of weeks, but it’s not usually that long.

    No, you can’t use American stamps. Select your postcard, write your message, then take it to the post office and ask to have it stamped and mailed. Der Brieftragen should hook you up real nice, yo.
